You have two main options:
1) Aberdeen City Centre (recommended option)
If you want to stay in the heart of it all, we recommend booking your accommodation in Aberdeen city centre and using the city as your hub. From here, you will be able to explore the city, coast and countryside within quick and easy reach. The main conference venue is within a 25-min bus trip (see Getting to P&J Live section).
There is no shortage of choice for accommodation in the city centre, and options are available on several different budget levels (luxury hotels, B&Bs, guesthouses, or self-catering apartments).
2) Hotels near P&J
If you prefer to be at the centre of the action right at the beginning of the conference, the P&J Live Conference Centre offers two additional accommodation options for on-site hotels: the Hilton Aberdeen TECA or the Aloft Aberdeen TECA. Some hotels are also available near the airport. Please note that several satellite/nights events such as VSAC, Opening Reception, Perceptio-Nite, Illusion Night and the Conference Dinner will be held in the city center (see Programme section).

Student Accommodation
For those on a budget, student accommodation at the Hillhead complex has been made available for the duration of the conference. The Hillhead complex is a student village on the south bank of the River Don close to Seaton Park.
It is only a 15 minute walk to the main University campus. A regular bus service takes residents to the campus and city centre, where you can then access transport to the conference venue.
The cost for this is £36 per night, which includes bed and continental breakfast. Accommodation is a Single En-suite room in flat of 5 private rooms with shared kitchen and social area.
